Privacy notice
This notice explains how we collect and use personal information when you use hisarhalfmarathon.in, register and pay for a race bib, or send a partnership inquiry.
What we collect
- Race registration: name, email, phone, category, gender, date of birth, derived age on race day, city, T-shirt size, blood group, emergency contact, parent/legal guardian name and mobile (for participants under 18), guardian consent, medical/safety declaration, sponsor opt-in, waiver acceptance, payment status and Razorpay payment references.
- Partner inquiries: name, company, email, phone.
- Technical: optional lightweight page-view metadata (path, referrer, device class, anonymous visitor id) when our database is configured.
Why we collect it
- To confirm your bib by email and WhatsApp, communicate race-week updates, and run the event safely, including contacting a parent/legal guardian or emergency contact if needed.
- To process payment through Razorpay.
- To respond to sponsorship and partnership requests.
- To operate and improve the website (traffic volume, device mix).
- If you opt in, to share relevant registration details with event sponsors and partners.
How we store it
Registrations and payments are stored in our event database (Supabase / Postgres). Card/UPI details are handled by Razorpay, not stored on this website. Access is limited to Aeropace event leads.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only: (a) with sponsors/partners if you opt in; (b) with service providers needed to run the event (timing, medical, Razorpay, email delivery, WhatsApp Cloud API); (c) when required by law or safety. After a successful payment we send a confirmation email and, where possible, a WhatsApp confirmation to the mobile number you provided. Emergency contact and guardian details are used for race-day safety and are not published on this website.
Retention
Registration and partner records are kept for the 2026 edition and reasonable follow-up for a future edition, then deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
Your choices
Email hisarhalfmarathon@gmail.com or call +91 8168510626 to request access, correction, or deletion of your registration record, or to withdraw sponsor marketing consent.
Children
Participants under 18 may register only for categories they meet on race day, and only with parent/legal guardian consent. The 21K Half Marathon is limited to participants aged 18 years and above. A parent or legal guardian must accept the event waiver for a minor.
Updates
We may update this notice as registration, payment, or vendors change. The effective date above will change when we do.
